With recent events in the United States regarding the overturn of the 1973 landmark decision of Roe Vs Wade, the threatening removal of reproductive rights is endangering a vast proportion of society including, but not limited to, those who menstruate, minors, and LGBTQIA2+ individuals. Roe vs Wade has fuelled the ongoing debate of abortion rights since its inception and the moral, social, and religious views within a political bubble. The possible federal decision to revoke this decision will greatly impact people across the United States, especially marginalised individuals.
Although across the pond, we at Print Social recognize the importance of protecting our bodily autonomy, as this issue affects a larger community globally. The overturning of Roe vs Wade would not only affect those living in the United States, but could act as a catalyst for these rights globally. Reproductive Rights affect anyone with a uterus anywhere. We stand in solidarity with those who are affected by these issues everywhere.
