Yorkshire based illustrator and Print Social campaigner Sonny (@sonnydraws) is a digital illustrator and painter, best known for her unique portraitures. Sonny sat down with us to chat about her art practice, tokens of her childhood, and her picture book style collages.
PRIDE MONTH 2022 RECAP
We had the honour this past June to partner with some incredibly talented queer creatives to create a collection of limited edition t-shirts. For this year’s inspiration, we asked our artists to create a design around the theme “Pride is a Protest”.

With recent events in the United States regarding the overturn of the 1973 landmark decision of Roe Vs Wade, the threatening removal of reproductive rights is endangering a vast proportion of society including, but not limited to, those who menstruate, minors, and LGBTQIA2+ individuals. Roe vs Wade has fuelled the ongoing debate of abortion rights since its inception and the moral, social, and religious views within a political bubble. The possible federal decision to revoke this decision will greatly impact people across the United States, especially marginalised individuals.

We’ve invited several of our artists who we have worked with before to talk with them about their work, and how they are doing as an artist during this movement of Black Lives Matter.
RAISING MONEY FOR BEIRUT
We are always looking to use our platform to help out a range of communities and causes all around the world. So, our immediate reaction on hearing the news of the disaster in Beirut, was to reach out to creatives within that community and invite them to use our platform to raise awareness of the desperate situation there!
